Wedding Bells!

This weekend we attended a beautiful wedding. It was the first time we’d taken this kids to anything like this, I was dreading it really but was happily surprised! They were well behaved as much as 2 year olds can be! They danced, played, smiled, they didn’t eat much but that was expected, too spicy Indian food for them really! So they had jam sandwiches for tea and not even a single meltdown at bedtime, awesome considering they had missed thier nap!

We had a lovely day as a family, I can’t say every function will be like that but I’ll take this one as a WIN!

This taught me not to under estimate my kids, when your dreading something just do it, if it goes to pot, come home!

They have a favourite Punjabi song and often dance to it at home, their faces lit up when it was played at the reception! Priceless moment.

The usually reserved Lone Ranger A, was all about the dancing and she really ‘let go’ was great to see the confidence shine out!

I am so proud of the little people they’re becoming, may we have more days like this.

I’m traveling this week for work so lots of FaceTime and lonely hotel room nights! (Also some catch up sleep!) I can’t wait to get home on Thursday! Then 10days until the big holiday!

Have a good one all!

Also big happy birthday to my little bro tomorrow! We’re both 33 for a month, strange but true!
